This movie has got to have one of the most deranged background story for a main character ever. Little Jimmy kills his grandfather because he kept telling him about vampires and werewolves. Logically, he believes his grandfather is a vampire and drives a stake through his heart, of course. Present day, and Jimmy is the vocalist and leader of a hard rock band called The Bad Boys and in need of a place to rehearse they go back to his grandfather's house. Soon enough, mangled bodies start appearing and it looks like the work of a werewolf or is it?
Enjoyable 80s horror with a lot of corny elements and mediocre but pleasant acting. The scarier part of the movie were the songs the band played...for a hard rock band they sure looked clean-cut and fluffy, looking more like a new wave band than anything else....got to love the 80s.
